About

At Popcorn, our mission is simple: deliver exceptional global connectivity that unlocks humanity’s potential. We’re rethinking telco from the ground up with a software-first approach. This isn’t about outdated towers and antennas—it’s about building intelligent, flexible, and customer-first products that truly work for you. Our first product, a phone plan that eliminates roaming and the hassle of juggling SIMs, sets the stage for innovation. As we step into a future defined by AI, space exploration, and global collaboration, Popcorn is creating the software layer that connects it all. Imagine a world where you never waste time on customer service, can take video calls from anywhere, and let AI handle your everyday tasks. We need bold innovators to make this vision a reality. If this is you, come join us.

Team

Hi, we’re Neel and Lukas 👋

We love building simple products that strip away complexity.

We've been building together for the past five years. Previously, we created Donut, a DeFi savings app backed by Bessemer. It served 50,000 users, hit $4M ARR, and raised $15M.

We believe small teams (<10) move faster, take ownership, and get more done. We've seen it firsthand at Popcorn: early traction, significant revenue, and users who love what we're building.

At our prior company, we built a remote team with product and engineering in Europe and growth based in the US. We're taking the same path at Popcorn and have already made two extraordinary early hires.

We're especially excited about the role of AI in reimagining how people interact with their mobile carrier. Smarter calls, less spam, and more done for you.

We’d love to tell you more. Good luck, and thanks for checking us out!
